• You must report an absence before the session begins. If the absence is reported after, it may still be marked as unauthorised.
• If you encounter an error with the form, ensure the date you’ve entered falls within term time. You can check term dates here.

• Close extra tabs or apps: Shut down any unnecessary websites, apps, or programmes on your device, as they might slow down your internet.

• Limit devices on your Wi-Fi: If possible, reduce the number of devices connected to your Wi-Fi during your session, as too many devices can make the connection slower.

• Move closer to your internet router: If possible, ensure you are close to your internet router as this will strengthen connectivity.

• If you are using a headset, ensure that it is properly connected to the correct audio port and the mute function is disabled.

• Right click on the Vedamo tab and ensure that the site is not muted. If it is, you will see an option to unmute.
• 
• In your system’s audio settings, find the sound section and check that the correct output device is selected as the default playback device.
