Maths circles are at the heart of what we do. But they are only the beginning.
We have been listening to pupils and their mentors. Many pupils have huge potential. It is not always easy for them to see where being great at maths can take them. So we are building a clearer journey through Axiom Maths with milestones that mark real progress and opportunities to go further for those who want more.
We want two things for every pupil in our programme. First, we want them to feel proud of being great at maths. That means helping the people around them to value and celebrate their success: parents, schools, and communities. Second, we want them to feel excited about where maths can take them, at university, in careers, and beyond.
The events below are part of how we make that happen.
Maths camps
Axiom Maths works with Purposeful Ventures, an education charity, to run fully funded maths camps with both residential and day options at prestigious venues across the UK. Schools nominate pupils based on their commitment and progress in maths circles.
At camp, pupils tackle challenging mathematics, explore future opportunities, and connect with like-minded young mathematicians from across the country. They also get to experience life at a top university.

Rising Mathematicians Festivals
Our Rising Mathematicians Festivals (RMFs) are one-day events that bring together pupils from different schools. They celebrate a year of mathematical growth and are held at local universities or workplaces.
Each festival includes live maths circle sessions, talks from inspiring mathematicians and university lecturers, and a chance to meet pupils from schools across the region.
We run RMFs every year, in every region. Look out for updates in the newsletter and from your Head of Region.
Pilots
We want to give our schools more opportunities to build on what maths circles have started. We are still learning what makes the biggest difference, and we are committed to finding out.
