We want to offer our schools more opportunities to bolster the success of your maths circles. We don’t yet know what the highest impact opportunities will be, but we are dedicated to finding out.
This year, we will be running a number of pilots of additional support we can offer schools. To test these, we need schools to help. If you are interested in getting involved in any of the following support, contact info@axiommaths.com
Welcome Packs
We are providing welcome packs to a proportion of pupils’ guardians when they join the programme. The welcome packs will introduce Axiom Maths, explain the opportunity, and detail how they can support at home.
CPD Offer for Teachers
We will be working with a group of schools to develop a series of departmental workshops, which Math Excellence Coordinators will then be able to run with their maths team to improve the teaching of high attainers.
Targeted Tuition
We aim to provide an academic safety net for Axiom Maths pupils who have experienced disruption to their education. A group of schools will pilot being able to refer Axiom Maths pupils to receive additional tutoring support for any loss in education.
Role Models
We will signpost schools to partners that can provide role models for the pupils in our maths circles.
