- Have a genuine enthusiasm for mathematics
- Are motivated to support young people
- Have demonstrated evidence of commitment and reliability
- Have experience of or openness to learn pedagogical skills
- Are relatable and personable.

Recruitment
We have a package of materials to support the recruitment of Junior Mentors:
- A customisable poster to advertise the role
- An editable Junior Mentor application form
- A recruitment guidance document
- An editable Junior Mentor agreement form
- An editable letter to parents/carers to inform them and gain consent for participation as Junior Mentors
- A customisable certificate to thank Junior Mentors at the end of the year.
