Programme guide

Using The Hub

The Hub is your central space for everything related to running the Axiom Maths programme in your school. From managing your pupils to accessing resources and sharing feedback, the Hub brings it all together in one place.

Watch this short video for a walkthrough of the Hub in practice.

Dashboard

The dashboard is your homepage. It gives you a quick overview of where things stand and directs you to each area of the Hub.

Pupils

The Pupils section is where you manage the pupils taking part in the programme at your school. You can add pupils, view their details, and keep their records up to date throughout the year.

Keeping pupil data accurate matters. If a pupil leaves the programme, please make sure their record reflects this. And if a pupil requests that their data be deleted, contact us straight away and we'll take the appropriate action.

Groups

The Groups section is where you set up and manage your maths circle groups. Each group brings together the pupils you're working with in a given session, and this is where you'll find them organised and ready to go.

Note that you will need to add pupils under the Pupils section first before you can assign them to groups.

Attendance

The Attendance section is where you complete the register after each session. Consistent registers help us spot patterns, adapt support, and give you and your school a clear picture of each pupil's journey through the programme. It's one of the most important habits to build early on.

Resources and training

This is where you'll find everything you need to run great maths circles sessions, including session PowerPoints and introductory videos. You'll also find key documents here, from certificates and curriculum overviews to resources that help you get started. Session guides live here too. Completing these before each session helps you get the most out of it and makes a real difference to your pupils' experience.

Feedback and surveys

This section gives you access to the weekly and termly surveys for both mentors and pupils. Your feedback shapes how the programme develops, so it's genuinely valued. The pupil surveys in particular give us important insight into how young people are experiencing the programme.
